Myoelectric prosthetic limbs are advanced devices made to help individuals who have lost their upper limbs. They use motors and batteries, responding to the user’s muscle signals to improve his movement and his grip strength.

These devices are particularly useful for those with upper limb loss, especially above the elbow. However users should be cautious as these devices might be heavy for some individuals and are not the proper ones forth use in wet or dirty environments.
